About the author
I hail from Beautiful Parker City, Indiana, a town of 1,323 people. I’m the father of the best two kids in the world. I’m a small business owner who has owned my own company for more than 15 years. I’ve grown my company by making a lot of mistakes and learning from each one. I work within the insurance industry and have been recognized nationally with regards to the marketing of my company. I’ve been quoted in the Wall Street Journal. As a business owner I am approached by many salespeople who all use the same play book. I’m not sure where they all got their information, but for the most part, 95% of my interaction with salespeople is a miserable experience. I’ve come to learn that there are thousands of ways to sell something and many of these ways are not a pleasurable experience for either party. This blog, my book, and my corporate training are my personal attempts to help eliminate the old crusty antiquated way of sales and replace it with a win win approach that is kind to both parties involved in any transaction.

After years of self-employment I find myself still searching for the key to making my businesses work. . . . .
